HAIRCARE Lush R&B hair moisturizer

Hi Lushies!

Yes that’s right, it’s haircare!! And by this announcement I officially open the HAIRCARE tab on my homepage. From now on I also review hair stuff for you guys. Why? Cause I struggle with my hair too and I know other people do as well. So take a seat, grab a drink and let’s talk about this problem that sometimes is extremely annoying.. (Don’t worry! If you are here only for the R&B review, you just need to scroll)

Before I begin, I will mention what my hair is like and what kinda products I need for my hair on daily base. My hair is long and wavy but sometimes straight. By warm weather my hair becomes fuzzyyyyyyy. I have to wash my hair every other day, otherwise it becomes greasy. I wash my hair with normal shampoo and normal conditioner (sometimes from lush!!) I try to use a hair mask every week, but time is not always on my side so. These are daily products/things for me. You might wonder why do you need a hair moisturizer well, welcome to the R&B review ;)

R&B was made for people with curly hair, but it works on straight hair too. You can style your hair with it, so it will stay in place to whole day. You can also use R&B if you have dry hair and you just need some volume in your life. And last but not least you can use this product just for its scent. I think this scent is the strongest I ever tried from lush. It’s full with grapefruits and if I had to describe the scent in a feeling I would say that it reminds me of summer vacation, and as an emotion; playful and also confident. 

I mentioned 3 things how you can use R&B in your hair, but I only use option 1 and 3. I use it for styling actually 3 times a week. And it works very well! It stays good all day and my hair does not become static. I don’t use it 3 days in a row because my hair can’t handle that. It becomes too greasy then. Every other day is fine, it just depends on what my hair plans on doing to me, sometimes it’s well! And sometimes you just have a bad hair day :( 

Up to option 3; the scent! Some of the people that I know and have this product as well use it for its scent. It’s a strong fragrance so don’t worry about the scent fading away throughout the day! Cause it definitely won’t. But I got a tip if you want an extra extra extra strong scent, and yes I just wrote that (the scent is just sooooooooooooooo good believe it’s out of it’s world!!!) so here’s my tip; if you goin’ to work the next day or go to school and you want to smell define you may want to follow the next steps:

• The night before

- Wash your hair, and use your usually routine

- Dry it but not completely, it’s okay if it’s a little wet

- Grab your R&B and put it in your hair (Read the 'Use' part if you don't know how to put it in gently!)

- Let it soak in for at least a couple of minutes 

- Then put it in a bun! (Or if you have short hair;just make sure your hair is tight up, maybe a ponytail will do or put in some hairclipse)

- Sleep with your hair tide up

• The other day

- Relief your bun and last but not least, grab the R&B again and use a little to just the places where you think ‘some more will be fine’.

The result is just stunning! Shiny hair, so much volume and ofcourse the scent is perfect. 

Use

Using this product might be a little weird for someone who never experienced a hair moisturizer before, so here is what you'll need to do: 

• You can either take a little bit in your hands and just massage it into your hair, but that might cause spots that will be missed...

• So what I'll do instead is much handier (at least for me it worked). I grab my haircomb and put some R&B in there, then I brush my hair with the comb. This way the R&B is well spread out and you're good to go!

!You only need a tiny scoop for a great experience!

• Dry hair: causes tons of volume

Would I recommend this product?

Ofcourse I would! This is a weekly/daily product for me and I would recommend it to everyone! For kids, women and even men. Believe me it's a scent that even my dad likes so that says something :)
