Hi Lushies!

(You can skip this if you want: mini update)

Long time no see heh.. I know it's been a while since I reviewed something, school has been really busy actually it still is. This means I won't be posting a lot compared to the past. But if I got time I promise to post something and keep you guys updated on my Instagram!

This is the first time I do a DIY instead of a review, I thought it was fun to write something different :)

I know that some Lushies including me have struggles with their shower jellies. My struggle is that sometimes they fall apart and will end up in the sink, which means a waste of your product. Well I was sick of that and I really think that one third of my jelly just fell and bye bye jelly. (Or better said "Bye bye miss American pie"-American Pie shower jelly from Lush-) I had the 'falling apart struggle' with Santa's belly shower jelly. It's really a belly formed jelly from Lush instead of a normal round kinda jelly. And with the belt on top of it's belly it also became more difficult to use under the shower. And let's be honest, the shower jellies are really fun to play with and look at but is it easy to use? Some of them are but I think I prefer a shower cream then. And that was my idea. Why struggling if you can do it a lot easier ;) I thought I would turn my jelly into a paste kinda formula. And not what I expected... It turned out well!!!!! I blended my Santa's belly shower jelly, but for this DIY I used Whoosh shower jelly (100g) So here are the following steps you need to take:

Whoosh shower jelly

What you need:

  • Blender

  • Shower jelly

  • Spoon

  • Knife

  • Cutting board

Step 1: Choose your jelly (I used a 100g shower jelly for this example)

Step 2: Cut your jelly into 4 pieces on your cutting board so it will be easier to blend.

Step 3: Drop the pieces into your blender and mix it for at least 1 minute!

Step 4: If it begins to look like a whipped cream consistency add 1 tea spoon water to it

Step 5: Mix it again 'till the water is dissolved.

Step 6: Well done! now you have a shower cream, time to move this cream into your original jelly pot.

Blended shower jelly

Now it's so much easier to use under the shower! And it only took 5 minutes! How quick and easy this DIY is ;) I hope this DIY is useful to you!
