Hi Unicorns!
Today a skincare review for you guys and again Lush is the chosen one, but don't worry! Make-up reviews are coming soon too ;) I would like to show you my opinion on the jelly face mask 'Fomo' from Lush. Jelly face masks are new inventions from Lush. They already had fresh face masks but now they did a little step into the future to show us a new way of a mask. There are different kind of jelly face masks, but I show you today a relaxing and calming one for your face. First we look at the ingredients; the first thing which I noticed was that there aren't much ingredients in jelly face masks. It is actually a base of clay and seaweed which gives it that jelly feeling. But it has a very nice rose scent!
The main ingredients are:
Water
Rose (absolute)
Calamine (powder)

As mentioned before there aren't many ingredients in this product, but I think that is a great pro. I mean this jelly face mask is to calm your skin if you have break outs or you sometimes have a dry skin. That's why I bought it, because of these benefits and I was very curious about the jelly. When I was at Lush and I searched for a jelly face mask that suits my skin, I didn't know which one I had to choose. A co- operator at Lush told me that this one was perfect and told me that it even works better with the toner water 'Eau Roma Water' from Lush. I also have that product, and I can tell you that that was the greatest combination for my skin so far.
But back to Fomo; you might think, how am I going to put jelly on my face in the first place? Well it is more simple than you think. You don't have to mix it with water or have to warm it up in a hot boil of water. You just need to rub it between your hands to make it like a paste. When it is a paste you can simply massage it on your skin and leave it for like 10 minutes. Then wash it off with warm water. (little tip: use a towel with warm water to rinse it off, it's more easier that way) One disadvantage of the jelly face mask is that it is harder to remove off your skin than a normal face mask. The clay absorbs water and fats so it is a little bit more stickier. I prefer a product that cleanses your skin easily and is not too difficult to remove from your skin, but I must say that I'm more impressed by this product than I was let down. After you've rinsed the mask off you have a beautiful glow on your face and it feels so fresh and clear! I like this new invention from Lush, it is a bit expensive but worthy to try out for once or more. (This product is vegan!)

Pros:
Calms your skin
Clears redness
Can be used 5 times or more!
Feels soft and fresh afterwards
Rose scented
Fomo costs (65g) ā¬10,50, Ā£6,95, $13,95
On a scale from 1 to 10 this product is in:
Quality: 8,5
Usage: 7
Duration: 8
Worth it?: yep ;)
Would I recommend this product?
Yes! It is so fun to try out, and it works pretty good! If you find it hard to rinse normal face masks from Lush off your face, I would think twice about it. Jelly face masks are a bit harder to rinse off so you might not like that of this product. And if you're searching for the right jelly face mask but you don't know which one to choose, feel free to dm me on Instagram at @unicornreviews_ ! I would love to help you out and give some advice for the perfect skincare product :)
Hope this was helpful to you and that you liked this review!
