Hi Lushies!

Today I have a LUSH soap for you guys and it's the category shower stuff! This is Parsley Porridge soap. The name already says that there's a lot of parsley in it and you can definitely smell that. There's also tea tree and thyme in the soap but those scents are very subtile. You also have little pieces in this soap; fine ground oatmeal. This gives a scrubby feeling!

The main scent are:

  • Parsley

  • Tea tree

  • Thyme

I bought this soap online on the LUSH UK site. I was really curious about the scent, because I saw there was Aloe gel in it and I love the scent of aloe!! For me that was the main reason I bought this soap. But when I got the soap I was a bit disappointed, I didn't smell the aloe gel at all :( I still only smell Parsley. So, I now use it in the kitchen only for my hands, because to my humble opinion the scent is unpleasant on my skin when I shower. However the scent of parsley is great in the kitchen on my hands! I think it just is better matching in the kitchen than in the shower.

The soap is green but doesn't leave a green colour on your skin. It's also easy to use in the beginning, only at the end it's more difficult to use because the soap is getting smaller. The scent is very strong so it does stay long on your skin.

(This product is vegan).

Pros:

  • Strong scent

  • Easy use in the beginning

  • Scrubby parts in the soap

This soap costs (100g): €6,45, $7,95, £5,10 (120g)

On a scale from 1 to 10 this product is in:

  • Quality: 7

  • Usage: 7 at the beginning, 5 when it's getting smaller

  • Duration: 10

  • Worth it?: Yes

Would I recommend this product?

If you love parsley, then yes, of course, buy it! But if you want to buy this soap for the same reason I did (because of the aloe) I would reconsider and ask yourself; am I going to use this scent of parsley for my whole skin in the shower? Or only in the kitchen as a hand soap? If you choose the last option it might be an expensive one.

Thanks for reading! I hoped you liked this review.

Yours,

Romy
